EASY you can buy a pepper spay dog repellant that is non toxic from any good pet store, spay it on the area the dog goes near and also get a soft toy or chewy toy to distract the dog when you are not there, also a dog needs routine so when you come home reward the dog if it has been good with a small piece of chicken or take it for a walk. If it has been chewing take the dog to where it has been bad, point at the object TAP the nose say NO in a stern voice and put it in a place on its own for 2 to 3 mins then repeat so it knows it cannot do that. continue this and i promise this will work.

First of all make sure that any cables he can access are switched off or he could electricute himself or set the house on fire!
Now spray them with something that tastes gross like tabasco, hair spray, a specialist spray for this purpose from the pet shop - anything to interrupt the desire for a good chew.
Finally, stock up on tasty and interesting chewy stuff to keep him busy so he doesn't have to resort to the cables. He obviously likes the rubber coating and the way the cable gets around his teeth so try and find chews that have a similiar effect and do just as good a job at cleaning his teeth.
Hope it goes well!

Brush a thin layer of hot sauce on the cables - one taste and he'll learn not to chew.

Keep an eye on him, and try to discipline him if you see him. Puppies are horrible. The last puppy I had, "Diablo", chewed everything in sight. Shoes, candles, books, you name it. When he chewed the water hose outside, I tried the hot sauce thing. It didn't seem to bother him at all.

We tend to think of dog training as a series of steps for teaching particular behaviors. To teach a dog to stay in a particular position, you reward her as she remains in place for gradually longer times, at gradually greater distances, with gradually increasing degrees of distraction. Now, this is fine, training does involve teaching dogs specific behaviors with a step-by-step approach. This week, though, I’m going to discuss three mental habits that will not only enable you train more effectively but also make life pleasant for both you and your dog.

There is some type of spray that you spray on it and it wont even think about messing with it. Just dont spank the dog.
