He starts barking like crazy and biting on things... and drools all over...he's a weirdo..

im kidding about calling him a weirdo he's family... i dont think it makes him tensed but happy cause he doesn't grow or anything its kinda a similiar bark to how he gets when its time to eat

no, he's not a weirdo - the laud noise probably drives him crazy, specially because dog hearing is more kean than ours.
try getting his attention away from the lawnmower while is on.

Dogs have a keen sense of hearing. The loud noise bothers him. When you mow the lawn, shut the dog up in the house (best would be in your room upstairs) and close as many doors as you can between the source of the noise and the dog.

All dogs have sensitive ears. Loud sounds actually hurt their ears.
He is trying to stop the lawnmowers noise, but as a dog does not know how. My suggestion is to keep him inside your home when cutting the grass.

Doga can't take real loud noises as it hurts there ears. The dogs who have floppy ears it doesn't bother as much but the dogs who have ears that stand up that can't take high pitch noises.

usually becuase the noise is making him anxious. they have sensitve hearing so the noise bugs the heck out of them.. mine do the same... poor babies. i would suggest liek others on here is too put him in the house away from the noise untill done mowing ,seriously..

It's really funny, but my dog does the same thing to a broom!!! He hates the noise and action of it I guess.

i have a rottie and a shitzu and they both go nuts when you start a lawn mower or a motor bike . and when molly was puppy she would play on a skate board she also barks at them.i think she remembers when she would run on them.

It is like my dog and a vacuum cleaner or rain, it makes them high strung or maybe he feels threatened.
