Is your pet tamed? Most reptiles will become aggressive (specially males) during the first 3 months in his new environment (either transferred or bought from the shop). You should start taming your pet after it started to feed by handling it for short regular periods and giving possible food reward(optional). As much as possible, buy the healthiest and smallest possible pet because juveniles are more easier to tame than adults or sub-adult. I advice that you should not handle your pet during, before, and just after shedding. This may cause severe stress to them. I have a sail-fin lizard. I bought it when it was a 2 weeks old and after about 3 months it became really tamed that it could sit in my shoulder for hours (especially while I'm doing my homework). You can e-mail me if you have some question about reptiles and arachnids or join a reptile club if you are interested.

if you can't remember to feed him then why do you own one. you don't forget to eat do you, then why should you forget to feed him. the best thing to do is to put reminders all over the house so everytime you go into a room you see the reminder. i think personally you should get rid of him and find him a new home, one that will not forget him. and if the reason why you forget to feed him is that you work to much then that should be a hint that you can't care for one anymore. i don't want to sound like that i am mean or sarcastic but it is true, if you can't remember to feed him then you need to find him a new home.

When you eat feed him. Also put a note on your door. If the dragon is out where you see him several times a day it is hard to forget.

:-( That's sad that the poor thing has to go hungry... How bout' this...
Buy another alarm clock, and set it for a time that you are ALWAYS (or mostly always) at home. Then feed the dragon when it goes off. Ahaaa. simply genius!

you should pick a time that u usually always home like dinner or early morning and stick with that and once u have chosen a time then its easy sailing after that just set ur alarm or even put her in the room where u spend the most time and when u see the dragon u will remember to feed it, simply put it in the living room and when u eat dinner she/he will eat the same time just like u would with a child

When you eat think, hmmm do I have any pets that are hungry right now? If you keep him somewhere you don't see him alot maybe move him to an area where you would have to see him alot and just seeing him might help you remember.

RETARDS!!!!!
he doesn't have a freakin fire breathing reptile in his backyard.
it's a bearded dragon a common pet.
What i used to do is leave him some meal worms and he would eat when he was hungry and since it's very important for him to eat greens leave it pieces of lettuce for him to much on .... and when u wake up every morning or after work or after school w/e it is make sure u give it it's daily crickets!

Well... I have two red eared sliders. The way I remember to feed them is; always at night after I feed them I turn the off... so in the morining I know if the light is off they have not been fed and if the light is on they have been!
Hope it helps!
