I let my rabbit out to run around today and I left the room. When I came back in not even 2 mintues later, I saw that he had gotten ahold of some chocolate and had eaten most of it...What is going to happen to him? Will he be ok?

He may get the runs, but should be alright. Baking chocolate is the worse for animals, milk chocolate unless eaten in massive amounts generally doesn't hurt. Keep an eye on him, but from I'm sure he'll be fine.

I hope so. Chocolate is considered poisonous for rabbits, and peanut butter isn't recommended. The best thing you can do is watch him very carefully and see if you can get him to eat as much hay as possible to keep his intestinal sysem working. If you notice that he isn't eating and his poops have slowed or stopped, call the vet immediately.

i won't be able to, i'm allergic to peanut butter (boo hoo, I used to loooove them). terrific are the peanut butter eggs at Easter time. I used to bit all of the chocolate off the facets and actual until i grew to become into in simple terms left with a great lump of peanut butter and then enable that soften in my mouth. Yummy! I omit them!

He should be OK. he may get a little diarhea but normal diet should take care of that. I remember a time when my ferrets got into a box of chocolates and had them all over the room with a bite out of each one of them. They turned out ok.

Hey, even a bunny needs a little comfort food once and a while. The news has been that chocolate is healthy now. I think he'll be fine.

I think your rabbit will be just fine honey. That is not enough chocolate to cause him harm...relax breath and hug the bunny for me!

animals usually only eat what is good for them and what they like ,just like babies ,only people are stupid enough to eat poison.
the rabit will be OK but he may get addicted to chocolate and peanut butter ,so if you value your chocolate(i do)hide it the next time
