I just gave my dog away about 3 months ago because I moved into a new house that only allowed small dogs. So I got a small chihuahua and thought maybe I can get over my dog,but it didnt help at all. Though I do love my new pet but I cant stop crying when i think of my old dog. And i tried to contact the people but the shelter i gave him back to said they couldnt give out any personal information. The shelter also said that they passed on my information to them and it was up to them to call me or not. But they never ever called so I guess they didnt want me seeing him. So what do I do? do i keep crying until i cant cry anymore? I wish I never moved into this new house because all of a sudden my mom said we were looking for a new house. Please Help!

I just got a roomie that also has a cat. I kept his original box, but would like it if he also used the other cat's box. The other cat seems to have no problem using both- any suggestions?

i have a female 7 mon old chihuahua and she stays in her kennel for 6 hours because i have school and i get out at 2:00,and im with her for the rest of the day,then i let her out of her kennel and walk her but eveytime she sees a family memeber of mine she jumps up is that a sign and she is also chewing on things and scratching my carpet.what do i need to do there is no one to take care of her for six hours.and how do i make my chihuahua stop taking my potted plants outside she started to pull the plants out

I found half a vitamin B upstairs which also contains C, E, zinc and copper. So for half a pill it would contain as follows:
B1...5 mg
B2...5 mg
B6...2.5 mg
B12...6 mcg
Vitamin C....250mg (I know this is okay because the vet said I should give her vitamin C)
Vitamin E...15 IU
Zinc...14 mg
Copper ...1.5 mg (I know copper is toxic for dogs but is this amount going to hurt?)

The dog is a 10 month old golden retriever about 65 pounds. She might also have gotten a vitamin D...1000 UI. If there is a problem what should I look for. By the way, the B pill says it's for stress and she has been quite calm this evening.

My female cat is a little over a year old, she's indoor-only, and eats only cat food. I've recently noticed that she bleeds from her anus when she poops. There's been blood in her poop as well. I'm going to take her to the vet, but until I can get in, I would like to know if anyone knows what is causing this... Thank you!

I just got my kitten today. She will be 3 months old tomorrow. I got her at a local animal rescue shelter. I visited the kittens on Thursday and she seemed to be the friendliest, wanting to be picked up. I saw her today and she was the same way only more hyper. I got her home and about an hour or two later, I noticed that she was sneezing. Not often, but enough for me to raise an eyebrow. I am going to make a vet appointment ASAP but I was wondering what I should do in the meantime to help her with her sneezing and small runny nose? It is clear discharge if this helps and when she sniffs something, thats when she seems to sneeze. Any suggestions until my vet appointment? :)

She whelped a litter of 10 puppies over a week ago. She had an appetite until 2 days ago. She is drinking and staying hydrated, not to mention the puppies are nursing and look great. I notice no signs of mastitis/milk fever. I have even offered her some table scraps, but she had no intrest? If shes not better she will go to the vet monday, however any thoughts as to whats going on would be appreciated.

We just caught a small, maybe around 1 inch long mouse and 4 days ago we caught a probably 2 inch mouse and around 1 moth ago we caught one that was around 2 inches too! does anyone have any suggestions about what to do???i mean we already have 6 glue traps around the house, but my concern is there may be a mother breedung these mice. Does anybody have any suggestions??ive tried getting a cat but my mom wont let me.

My neighbor's is ridiculous! I don't hear it barking every day, but when I do hear it, it barks non-stop. I got home this afternoon at about 3:45 and it has been barking every since! (It is now 7:30). I have been having this problem for months now. The first couple times that it happened, I would take food over to the fence and throw it over. That shut it up for a while, but then it started right back up. I do not know my neighbor that well. How can I get the dog to shut up!?! (I am very animal friendly. I am not mad at the dog, just at the situation!)

The dogs are a 10 year old pug and a 2 year old pug/chihuaua mix. The p/c mix was the one who pulled out the others eye. We took her to the vet and had her eye sewn shut since the eye wasn't saveable, but since she's been home from the vet, the p/c keeps trying to start fights with her.

I have a three year old pom - who i think may have seizures - every so often he body tenses up and she cant walk do anything - its heartwrenching - it kills me. she tries to keep going - her tail is not affected... her legs just dont work and get stuck in the position they were in when whatever it is that is happening happens - so it may be stuck straight out - or may be tucked it... i dont know what to do. ive taken her to the vet and they said its probably seizures and there is nothing that i can do about it. for the first time tonight she yelped right before it happened, breaks my heart. she is my little dogchild! have you ever seen or heard of anything like this? please help!
