I just gave my dog away in August and Im still over him. Thinking of the memories weve had makes me cry even more. I never run out of tears and i cant not be sad. even when i talk about him im sad. nothing helps what should i do?

Why did you even give him away,if it made you that upset? But for whatever reason that is, I'm sure it has a point. My aunt passed away a few years ago and I can't get over that. Sometimes it helps to frequently see your dog, when I can never my aunt again. If seeing your old bud is totally impossible, in which the case is very similar to mine, the best is to look at the bright side and that you know he remebers you. I know it's sad to not see your dog again, or not as much as you used to, and a lot of people will tell you that you might get over it . But the truth is, in some situations you probably never will. You know that you dog is alive and well, and you love him/her , right? Well, sometimes in situations, letting him/her go is the best way to let him live his life like that---even though, I wouldn't have believed so if told, if were in your shoes. But over time, you'll realize that.

Would have to ask the reason you gave it away?If you no longer could care for it then you did the right thing,but if you gave this pet away out of dislikeing the pet,or it was too much trouble,then why did you get it in the first place.Evidently you must have thought the person you gave it to could take better care of it than you,so leave the pet with who ever you gave it to and don't be an indian giver.Possession is 9/10 of the law.

I don';t know the reason why you gave your dog away. I'm sure you gave him to someone who will take care of him well, and he will be happy with this new person.

why did u give it away??????????
if u did as circumstances have changed and it was for his own benifet than thats what u need to remember. maybe contact this person and ask if u can vist the dog from time to time
