I was going to buy a large tank for my goldfish who is now living in a temporary bowl (don't worry, TEMPORARY) but the tank can fit another goldfish. I really want a fancy goldfish, but my comet goldfish will tear its fins and is faster and it'll eat its food. Has anyone successfully kept a comet goldfish and a fancy one together?

My male siamese cat is just 3 years old, he's an indoor cat, always has been.. but in the middle of the night he will just sit in front of any random door of the house and cry and cry and cry. But refuses the attention when i wake up and try and give him some..I heard it's natural considering it's a siamese but only when we're trying to sleep ... what's this mean?

My friend insists she saw one like this. Could it possibly be pure or probably x-breed? Sounds lovely whatever!

I was holding my 10 week old kitten today and noticed this really really tiny black thing crawling deep under all his fur on his skin. Are these fleas?

Also, does this mean the other two (11yrs and 8 months) will have fleas too? :(

I live in Spain, and I am planning to get a dog. The problem is that I after a year, I may move due to work, maybe back to the UK. I know there is no problem with moving around Europe with your pet, but when going to the UK, will I have to leave my beloved pet in a kennel, over there, for quarantine? Is there any other way of doing this? Thanks

I switched him off of Iams to a Royal Canin special diet not too long ago, as the Iams was making him scratch himself horribly and also diaherra, the "Sensitivity Control" from RC solved both. But not the bizarre licking thing.

He's a 12 year old persian.

Advice? If it's minerals he's missing, any recommendation on a supplement (he doesn't do pills)

Thanks!

I saw a book advertised recently which contained recipes for dog biscuits, it brought up all sorts of questions, what do they put in dog biscuits, are they easy to make at home, would they taste better to the dog than commercially bought ones?

My pet Pterodactyl, Dirk has escaped from his aviary. He is currently soaring the sky above my house, but won't return to his aviary. He is currently depopulating the street of cats and dogs. And the neighbours are livid about his poo and projectile vomiting attacks! I don't want to have to shoot him.....can anyone help??

Yesterday, we lost our dog of 12 years, suddenly to lung cancer. (Diagnosed on Tues. passed on Friday). Our cat has literally grown up with the dog in the house and were the best of friends.

Now I'm worried she's suffering with grief and depression. I've looked it up and she's shown signs of the grieving process (anxiety, depression, and being overly needy and friendly for her "norm")

I've tried to keep her routine as normal as possible and have been trying to give her as much love and attention as I can seeing as how I'm grieving, too.

She's eating and drinking still, but I'm so worried she's going to grieve herself to death.

So, my question is this. What are some ways to try to make this easier for her? (Other than getting a new dog/cat, I'm just not emotionally ready for that)

I have read that humping in neutered dogs is a dominance issue, not sexual. But, my dog (4 year old Yorkie mix) humps things only when we're not in the room. He has learned that we don't like it, so he does it out of sight. He will take a sweatshirt or blanket, roll it up and go to town. He has even gone so long that his penis turns inside out. I think it has to feel good, not be a dominance thing. What bothers us is that the items get drooled on, dragged around on the floor, and who knows what other gross stuff. Also, his little willy worries me. Any suggestions?

i recently lost my young pole cat ferret whilst taking her for a walk, she slid out of her harness and dissapeared in a hedge, (near lots of rabbit holes) i keep going back and calling her and walking all round for miles, is it true that ferrets will go for miles and miles and be happy killing rabbits? or is there a possibility she will find her way home?

I was feeding him and there were little baby-looking roaches along the lid. What should I do. Oh by the way I didn't have any kind of roach before?

Our 19 week old puppy is toilet trained through the day, but every morning he has left warm, soft, brown stools for me to step on! He was in the kitchen at night (for cleaning up purposes) and semed to be toilet trained, so he was allowed in the lounge room as well. The problem started about 2 weeks ago and no matter how early or late I get up, I am always too late! Please help me and our carpet! Thankyou :)
