There not good with kids or other pets but I'm sure eventually your other dog will get sick of it and put the puppy in its place.

Sounds like jealousy to me. We are having the same problem. And have it alot of times. When the Cocker comes over, after the lab. Ignore it, pet the lab. But if the cocker comes over without the lab pet it only. It'll learn that first come, first serve. When he is being mean, ignore him. So enough your lab will put him in his place.

My friend has a Cocker Spaniel, along with 2 other dogs and this definately sounds like their spaniel. Also if you make theirs mad, he will go pee on the bed of whoever made them mad.

When 2 dogs are in a house it is normal for 1 to show dominance over the other.

hmm I googled it and it does seem like they get jealous easily. I would just ignore his behaviour and continue to praise your labrador. I would say 'No!' everytime the spaniel is nasty to your other dog.

It's like having kids. If you give attention to one, the other's gonna want some too. I have two dogs so I know what it's like. Pat them on the head at the same time.
