They are really my families puppies, so i cant get rid of them. they whine and bark. when i scratch them to make them shut up, they either gnaw my hands and wrists, or they lick me. They jump on me. and they lick mt face. I cant train them out of any of this, because the rest of my family lets them. I've been trying to make them stay off me for months, but i cant do it. I'm really going to go ballistic, its to the point where i want to scream and shove them away. I shove them gently off me, but its really hard not to shove them with some good force behind it, because they jump back up. Every time i put them outside they want back in, and then they want out. It takes a lot of concious effort not to act violently towards them. Is there ANY way to stop them?

he is a year old indoor neutered cat. most of the time this week he has been running and jumping round my flat like a loonatic.

i thought he wanted to play at first but he just wont calm down.

he has jumped up and broke several cd cases and he knocked over a glass cup and it smashed.

i take him out for walks but it doesnt seem to calm him down that much. i cant let him off the lead as i live on a busy main road.

what can i do to calm him down and get him to chill out?

I am getting a large tank for goldfish and I already have a baby comet goldfish in a bowl (it's temporary) and I'll put it in the tank but I do want more goldfish in there. I want fancy goldfish instead of the regular comet goldfish, but I know that fancy goldfish aren't aways very hardy. I want a breed that IS pretty hardy. So what is the hardiest breed of fancy goldfish AND AND AND how much do they usually cost? Now I'm not talking about a show-quality fancy goldfish, just a normal one. So please help...???

I put in an underground fence which keeps him out of the flower beds. I bought a remote shock training collar and he will not dig in the grass as long as we are in sight. But as soon as we turn our back on him and are out of line of sight he is back to digging again. We correct him with the training collar when we see him digging but the dog is smart enough to know that when we can't see him he can do what ever he wants to do even with the training collar on.

We make sure he gets lots of exercise and plenty of attention but nothing works as far as digging up the grass goes. Some folks have suggested neutering him but I don't want to neuter a Regristered male Border Collie.

About the only solution left is put in a kennel and keep him penned up or get rid of an otherwise wonderful companion.

Any ideas or references will be greatly appreciated.

Humans eat dozens of different animal and fish species. Why people get so emotional over eating dogs? I had dog when I was visitng China and it was so delicious. Too bad it can't be found in the U.S.

I really like both these breeds and cant decide on one, so i was just wondering if it would be a really bad idea to get both, or if i would work just fine.

Brand new greyhound owner for 2 hours now, and my cute girl is going to town on her stuffies. I've never had a dog before, and I've done reading on greyhounds and asked lots of questions-but this is one I hadn't thought about! Do they shake their heads back and forth with a stuffie in their mouth (looks like she's trying to rip it to shreds!) because they are having fun, or is it because she's upset? I know she's nervous (she's got dandruff, but I was told that would subside as she gets used to me and her new home) I'm afraid the pink pig toy won't make it through the night! :) I guess I just don't know if she's chewing all over it to tear it up or to find the squeaker.
Thanks,
Nervous new owner.

We found him 2 years ago where someone had deserted him & he is an all in door cat. We do not let him outside. For the past couple of days now I noticed him constantly licking himself all over more than normal. Well today I looked at his backend cause it looked funny. The place he is licking the most is his back & near his tail. There are bald spots now on his backend & tail. Here where I live only has 2 vets & I cannot get ahold of them & they have not returned calls. He is eating & playing & sleeping normally. The only difference in him is the excess licking. I cannot get him now to the vet until Monday. What could be the problem? It has me very concerned ! Thanks
