Apparently acording to law if a cat or other animal is suspected to be in ill health or suffering one way or another then a visit to the vet is mandatory because if the animal suffers then this is in violation of one law or another(I forget the laws)? So if it is illegal not to seek help, then do vets charge for diagnosis or not?

The rabbits are domestic and my guess is that some idiot had them as pets and abandoned the poor things outside.....One is an Adult and the other is very young baby.....the big on seems to look after the baby.
My Question is Will they survive the winter ...It is starting to snow and the weather in the winter time can some times get as low as -30 degrees Celsius
And if the weather is too cold and I want to rescue the Helpless rabbits ...If i pick them up will they bite me?I think they are friendly because they just lay in front of this store by the side walk and i can get really close to them and they have not run away from me

I know Jack Rabbits can survive cold weather but they have diffrent fur.

What should i do ?

Thanks..

He was fine til we had him clipped in the summer, and when we brought him home he started itching etc and we found a flea on him. But the flea's gone now but his constant and very annoying itching and gnawing at himself hasn't. Actually the problem's worsened cos now all the parts he really itches and chews at is stained like mad. It's a shame it seems to be making him so fed up... It's not (I hasten to add) having a wonderful affect on the rest of the family either, we're all fed up with seeing his foot stuck down his earhole or his mouth trying to remove one of his testicles or summat...seriously though I need to know how to stop him cos it seems to me like he's developing a habit but not all the family agree. So come on guys I need some advice before we're all driven mental. : |

A few years ago my partner paid and sent away forms to a pitbull registry for my pitbull terrier to get his papers. They were to an address somewhere in Perth WA (Australia). He never recieved the papers and cannot recall the address as it was long time ago now. We did hear that it may have shut down but then we are still not sure. There maybe still a way for us to get hold of some proof that he is a purebreed if there a pitbull registry in Australia. Is there anyone that may know where we can go (Australi wide) to maybe re-register our dog as a purebreed or trace where the original copies may have got to ???

Mama hamster had 9 babies, we came home one day and she had eaten 4. No, they were not touched and they were still nursing at the time. So, we seperated them. I put the babies together and the mom in her original cage. I get home last night and 3 more of the babies are dead, half eaten, and spread out all over the cage. One was completely intact, but its brains were eaten and there was only a skull carcus left attached to the body. What the "you know what" is going on. Down to 2 now...and we separated them last night. I've heard of mama eating the babies, but babies eating each other! Anyone have any insight?

Pit Bulls are not the problem its the people, once and for all. The reason Pit Bulls get the bad rap is that yes they do bite as all dogs the difference is they don't let go. They are a very tenacious breed, meaning very determined to do what it sets out to do. Think about it, it was bred to pit bulls which we all know are a very hard animal to control, so the dog had to be strong. But these dogs can be a great dog to own but your better be a good "pack leader" so it will follow your rules not its own. Every breed was bred for something to do for us humans, my dog is an Australian Cattle Dog another breed that is a tough. These dogs are bred to herd cattle, and so they to are very tough but with love and consistensy he is the smartest and the most loyal dog I have ever owned. But I trained him to be that way so if you want a dog any dog make sure you have the desire and patience to train it to be a loyal partner in your life.

he is pitch black with small yellow spots on the front half of his body. I cant find any picture of an eel that looks like him. he has the body but color is very odd for any eel i've seen. I've already moved him to a brakish water aquarium and he is doing very well. he eats very well and is very active, but i cant figure out what his exact breed is. I am new to the yahoo answers thing, i can post a picture if i knew how to. thankyou for any help.
