Are dogs capable of love or are they just really good manipulaters who pretend to like us so we will feed them.

I really think they are capable of love ,my daughter have a small dog ,forgot the kind but he cry all day when she goes to work but when she comes home the dog beats her daughter to the door to meet her ,he can tell when she drive up without see out side,yes dog really love

Dogs are definitely capable of love. They greet you when you come home, they snuggle you when you're cold, they try and comfort you when you are sad...If they didn't care, if they were just manipulators like you suggest, they wouldn't bother with that. Only when, and if, they wanted something. So yes, I'm comfortable in saying that your dog likes you, and your dog loves and adores you.

Yes dogs are very friendly animals if they are treated right. If a dog has been abused or traumatized they may be vicious and attack for no reason.

They do love I think in their own doggy way. My son always feeds the dogs (its his chore!) but they favour me...except when they are hungry!!! lol So it isnt JUST food.

The one thing about dogs is that they either like you or they don't. So I would say your dog likes you. They just like top get fed too.

i think they do love u... u feed them, they have u all day, they think ur dady or mamy...
the don't just love u.. most of the times they adore u....!!
