It's not too late to teach her that hands are off limits for biting and scratching. You should never let them do that, because they'll just keep doing it, and then you have a pet you can't pet!
When she does it, remove your hands and say No firmly. I think that's all you really need to do; I don't thank that you need to pop her one (gently of course).
Eventually they'll learn that they are not to play with hands.

You can also try saying "OUCH, Don't bite, and thumping her nose when she does it too hard, then make a point of petting in a calm manner, without a toy - she may not know the difference and may be thinking that every time you stroke her that you want to play. Keep in mind that cats play with teeth and claws, thats the way they roll - you gotta teach them to be nice when you want them too - or wait till they get old enough that they wanna cuddle more than play.

Find another way to let her play. When she bites you, play is over. I think cats go through teething like any other animal. Her adult teeth will start to pop through at around 6 months. Provide her with a few pieces of crunchy cat kibble. Also, she probably thinks your skin is just like that of another kitten.

Every time she bites you withdraw your hand and make a hissing sound through your teeth. Wait for a while, and then start playing with her again. She will soon get the idea that you don't like it.

she will eventually grow out of it and especially after getting spayed. but you do have to teach her not to do it. when playing with her have a toy to put in her mouth when she starts bitting you. if she continues stop the play session and ignore her for maybe 10 mins after about a half hour try again. she will eventually get the picture.

This sounds cruel but rub some lemon juice or hot sauce on your hand. I promise she'll quit biting.

My kitten used to do that, until I started biting her back. Karma. It works.

It is natural. Just grab her neck and stroke her gently. It is not cruel to grab her neck because cats always carry their offspring by biting the offspring's necks.

Take a big breath and blow in her face - she will let go quick ! And it doesn't hurt her a bit ! Don't pull away, push forward, that triggers her to release also.
