I used to have two germans, Scarlet, the female and Shadow the male. They were excellent dogs. I used to be obsessed, I loved Germans, still do. But now I focus on my lab, Zoey.

I have always liked the working dogs. I like hounds and cattle dog/sheep dogs. I dearly love to hear the voice of the Beagels as they slowly but methodically push game through the underbrush. They are industrious had working dogs and very loveable. And I really enjoy Border Collie's and I guess they are my favorite. Border Collie's are in my opinion the smartest of all the dogs. They are very protective. I never worry about my family with When My Border Collie's are around. They are fierce little dogs. It is not unusual to see Bordie Collies take on dogs twice their size or larger. And I once saw two Border Collies take on a 500 lb Black Bear. Yet as fierce as they are they are also the most loving giving creatures. They are easily trained and adapt to almost any situation. And the Border Collies are amazingly agile animals. They can do naturally what olympic athletes train a life time to do.

I would have to say mine is a Boxer. I had one for about 5 years and she was the best dog that we ever had. But then again I love all dogs.I have had or been raised around-Border Collie,Bosten Terrier,Rotti/doberman/shepard mix,Huskey/wolf mix/daushound/chiuawua mix,labs
And out of them all my Boxer was the best.

My favorite kind of dog is any that have been rescued and given a good home. My husband and I have adopted many loving and appreciative dogs over the years. If you love them and take care of them, they will love and take care of you. Most of them are mixed breeds and free of any hereditary traits. We also have several labrador retrievers and as they have aged(10-14 years) they all are now experiencing hip problems. Even with the problems they have, they are still very loving dogs. All dogs need to be loved and cared for, so rescue one! They will soon be your favorite kind of dog.

I have a german shepard-lab mix. I must say that she is adorable!! She is the greatest dog i've ever had!!!

My favorate dog is a golden retriever, but I don't have one, actually it is strange but I have a Chihuahua named Precious and a Saint Bernard named Huckleberry, awkward huh. Thankfully they are both girls, if not boy would I be in TROUBLE! he, he, he. I also like huskies and wolves, a friend of mine has like 20 and they are so pretty.

I wouldn't know, since I luuuuuuve dogs! But I currently own a beagle and he's the sweetest dude around.
