Our 19 week old puppy is toilet trained through the day, but every morning he has left warm, soft, brown stools for me to step on! He was in the kitchen at night (for cleaning up purposes) and semed to be toilet trained, so he was allowed in the lounge room as well. The problem started about 2 weeks ago and no matter how early or late I get up, I am always too late! Please help me and our carpet! Thankyou :)

I have a new puppy too! I purchased a pen when I bought the puppy and I leave the door open and lined it with newspapers for him to poo in there. If he potty's on floor, he goes in the pen and I close the door, leaving him to think about it for awhile. Since it is close to winter already, training him outside maybe difficult right now but since you have a started try putting down some paper for him. It'll be alittle easier for you to clean and the puppy won't feel bad if he can't hold it. Good Luck!

He is training you now.
Nothing a bullet could not fix, only kidding.
I heard a story once, where the dog sh-it repeatedly in a woman's bed.
Analysis:
He did not approve of her new boy friend.
Try this remedy:
Every time he makes a mess.
Grab him by the back of his neck and rub his nose in his poo.
When he gets tired of having his own feces shoved up his nose every morning he will stop leaving his I am spoiled for attention presents in the morning.

You could try kenneling him at night. It is a proven fact that a dog will not poo where he sleeps. Also if you make sure he doesn't eat after 8:00 and goes out before bed it will help.

You'll have to spend a couple of days with the dog 24 hours a day. Watch where he goes and just before he's able to lift his leg, take him out. After he goes outside, positive reinforcement.
