DO NOT BREED ON FIRST HEAT. she is to young wait. she should come into heat every 6-9 months. but before u breed get her tested so as she wont give birth to babies with defects both mum and dad need to be tested. try and wait till 3 rd heat this should be when shes around 2. please keep in mind there is no money to be made in breeding if u intend on caring for mum properly during and after pregnancy plus pups need to have vaccinations etc. so if this is to make money its not a good idea.

First off I think you need to do some more research other than on this site if you plan to breed your dog. A dog should NEVER be bred on the first heat, if it is a small breed it can be bred on the 2nd heat; if it's a larger breed it is best to wait 'til the dog is at least 2 or 3 yrs old.

Breeding dogs is a lot of work and if done correctly (proper vet visits prior to breeding and during pregnancy, proper nutrition, vet visits after the pups are born and in need of their vaccines) you'll be lucky to break even. The momma dog only keeps the pups clean and fed for 4 wks. once the pups start eating solid foods and begin the weaning process the next 4 - 6 wks it's up to you to keep them fed and to pick up after them (remember it's best for pups to stay with mom and their litter mates until they are at least 8 wks old - preferably 10 to 12 wks old).

Just stuff to think about before you decide to breed your dog. Then if you still think you want to breed her, why not talk to the breeder you got your dog from.

In my journey, the canines breeds that are the least probable to advance human aggression subject concerns are the Pug, Beagle, English Bulldog, and Boston Terrier. i've got no longer incredibly considered an occasion of any of those breeds that i might say had a severe aggression situation, nevertheless I even have met extremely a selection traumatic Beagles. nicely-bred Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, and Greyhounds could be genuine up there besides. on the different hand are the breeds that are maximum probable to be aggressive. I even have on no account had a delightful journey with a Yorkie. in actuality, of the 50 or so Yorkies that I even have encountered, i might say all 50 had some type of aggression situation. Chow Chows, Akitas, and Chihuahuas are genuine up there besides. yet, i might say that the main aggressive canines breeds are the multiple breeds of Terrier from Scotland, the Scottish Terrier, West Highland White Terrier, Cairn Terrier, Dandie Dinmont Terrier, and Skye Terrier. Scotties and Westies especially are very bitey canines.

Seven months old is too young to breed a dog,and this pet should be at least 2 years old before you breed her.A dog will come into season every 6 months, and sometimes every 4 months.I repeat don't breed your pet on first season,as she is too young and won't understand how to raise the pups,as she is a pup herself.

hope this helps... dogs go into heat every 6 months. It last 3 weeks. They can only be bred at this time because it's the only time they are "receptive" to a male dog. One year old is good because she should have gone through 2 heats by then. Have her checked by a vet first to make sure she is healthy and have the owner of the male do the same with their dog. you will have to leave your dog with the breeder or they will leave theirs with you. Don't be surprised if it doesn't work the first time. Be patient.

You shoudn't breed untill you do your research, And They should never be bred thier 1st heat cycle, Many problems can come of this. 7months is too young, it would be like a 12 or 13yr old having a baby. They are not mature enough and ready for puppies that young.

why do you want to breed? do you think you can make money doing it???....trust me ...you wont !!!! are both of your dogs registered and up to the breed standard? are they free of genetic health problems known to their breed?do you have QUALIFIED homes for the litter already lined up?are you able to pay for an emergency vet bill if needed?can you afford to pay for food & shots for the litter until they all go to homes?are you willing to take a pup back in a year or so when the owners no longer want it?...these are all questions that need a yes answer before you even consider breeding!!!!! shelters and rescues are full of dogs that started out just like a litter you want to bring into this world !!!Dont breed or buy while shelter animals die!!!!

Just plain ignorant. How about you email me and we can set up a time for you to come to the shelter I work at and watch some puppies be euthanized??? Do you know their is to many pets in this world right now and nobody needs to breed. When they euthanize the family of dogs they put mama to sleep first because if they euthanize the pups first Mom dog gets very upset hearing her babies cry in pain and then die........ Come on where is your brain???? this world doesnt need anymore animals. For every pup born one dies at a shelter because of YOU BREEDERS. You dont just all of a sudden get a hair up your *** and breed your dog.

You should wait until she is 18 mo- 2 yr old. And do not breed every heat. Always skip a cycle.

you should never breed your dogs until their 2nd heat at least, think of it this way her maturity level would be the same as a person breeding at 7 or 8 yrs old. be patient let them mature while you do some investigation and training yourself, it's not always as easy as you may think.
