Traps or poisions if there are no small children or any pets in the home. The spread disease and they need to be taken care of. Keep all food put away, sealed and inaccessible.

Plug in electronic beepers may help, depends. I used to use them, but in my new home, it's useless since I have a nasty crawl space. I recently sealed all holes and gaps with a foam sealant and haven't seen any since. You could also use stainless steel scrubie.

There are certain aromas they hate: peppermint or spearmint oil, moth balls, fox or bobcat urine (check online). You could try cayenne pepper, pepper sauce or wasabi to 'feed' them.

If you can't get a cat (and not all cats are mousers), a snake might help - talk your mom into that one. :)

I used Pine to commence off once I first began into the rodent craze. It worked properly, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that's no longer the main suitable whilst it is composed of how many times to alter it and smell (even nonetheless it does not smell as undesirable as Aspen, it is larger than the two Pine and Cedar, via the way!) Carefresh is great, yet fantastically expensive. you will locate different paper beddings that are particularly such as Carefresh, yet Carefresh is, according to risk, the main suitable thank you to bypass. in case you have become mice, comfortable Aspen shavings, or paper bedding, are the two stable. stable success! P.S. a hundred,000 mice?! Now that's a daunting thought...

buy the humane traps. don't kill them, release them when caught and yes try to find a person who might find a nest without killing them because they did NOTHING bad to you, just annoyances. good luck!
