My dog has ibeen throwing up food as if she didn't digest it. The past two incidents have been almost an entire bowl. I havent really changed her diet recently, but this symptom happened yesterday and today. I fed her later in the day yesterday and she seemed to hold it in. And she is still excreting feces although not as much so some of it is going down. I can't figure out the problem. Please no opinions, only expert opinions like someone who had something similar happen or a vet who had the same problem.

I want to take a trip to the Virgin Island but I also want to take my chihuahua puppy with me. My mom said I cant take him unless I can carry him to my seat. Is he aloud to come on the plane with me whithout going to the bottom of the plane where all the other dogs go? Im flying from Virginia To the Virgin Island? Is he a carry on? Is he small enough? Hes about say 4-5 pounds and hes a little longer than my knee up.

Just wondering how often you take your doggies to the groomer and if you bathe your dogs in between visits. Also, what kind of dog do you have? I have a yorkie that, I think, I'll be taking to a professional once a month. But she defenatly needs a bath or two in between visits. Is this too often? She gets quite smelly from playing with our other two outdoor dogs. I'm not going to keep them apart, and I know you shouldn't bathe too often, so I'm just wondering if my plan sounds okay...?

my dog recently got neutered. now i know that the process is that they remove the testicle(s) and somtimes a disrution of the flow path of the semen/sperm to the penis. now the vet only removed one of his testicles. my other dog (adopted, pre neutered) both his testicles are removed. so im wondering if the vet knew what he was doing or will some poor female dog end up with puppies down the road?

About 1 year ago my dog's intestines got twisted and were surgically fixed. Since then, she gets sick about once or twice a week. The vet has tried many meds (tagamet, centrine, peptobismol). The days that she is sick her stomach makes skwirty noises, she can't eat, and has bloody stools. The vets cannot figure out exactly what it is - they have never seen this before. Has anyone ever experienced this or anything similar? I hate to see my dog sick, I really want to help her.

At the moment i only have one... my neighbor actually has 76 cats! 4 of them are indoor cats...the rest are outdoor cats that can occassionally come inside tyheir house. my college professor (who happens to be an old maid) has 36 cats... Both of them were featured in various magazine shows... How many do u have? do u know anyone with that much of furry feline friends?

I called my vet the other day and asked what flea medicine I should get for my cats and dog (the dog has a few fleas). They said they would only reccommend Advantix and Advantage (conviniently the only two that you can only get from a vet's office...like the beauty salon claiming that only THEIR shampoo will stop your hair from falling out later in life or whatever...). I asked if I could still use the other three brands on the shelf and was told that Hartz has been linked to many many animal deaths and should absolutely not be used. I looked them up online and the only website that seems to say this are websites like, www.hartzvictims.org, www.animalhelp.com, and www.againsthartz.com. Yet they ALL say that this many lawsuits have been filed, this many news reports have been done on them etc...I am asking...where are all these news reports? I want one reliable news story about Hartz being linked to many deaths...

I currently have my 5 month old in puppy class. I was going to go through all 4 classes at Petsmart, but now I'm thinking I could save about $300.00 and teach my dog the same things (and probably more), if I invest in a good book or DVD. Any suggestions? I'd prefer a DVD, but books are fine too. That way I can also apply the training to our other two dogs at the same time.

It always hangs between his legs, and he never wags it. He is very reluctant to sit down, and when I took his tail to have a look, he whined.

my 7 month old pomchi has not eaten in 2 days and keeps vomiting up this white foamy type stuff... I brought the dog to the vet and she says the dog has some kind of virus in his stomache, and its only a 30% chance of him living. I will bringing the dog to the vet for the whole week for treatment. Im not sure what fatal virus this is... This is in China, and lots of dogs are getting this virus this year... Does anyone know what this virus is called in English? Quan Wen Re is the Chinese name. Does anyone know what this means? Im not Chinese... And if anyone knows is this common in dogs, and whats the chances of dogs living with this virus? Thanks
