yes they do... we saw a presentation yesterday about owls... and there are some larger owls that will even eat smaller owls... so the smaller ones listen for the call of the larger owls and know that they need to stay away or be killed.... owls will also eat mice rats chipmunks... if hungry enough another owl, depending on the kind of owl

Occasionally, but not often. most Owls are mainly rodent hunters but they will catch birds if they are lucky and desperate. It has been known for large eagle owls to kill golden eagles when they are at roost, but the eagles will sometimes kill the owls during the daytime.

Yes ! It's been known to happen, and i've even watched this happen in our back yard. It was a sparrow that the owl 'took'....so, it 'can' happen.
