Yes it is bad for a fog to eat spicy food. They do not have the same system or chemicals to digest certain types of foods but that would be the least of my worries. Chicken and even pork bones splinter when they break and turn into small needle sharp bits and pieces. The DO NOT get digested and will pass through your dogs entire digestive system. they will stick and cut into the stomache and intestinal lining causing bleeding and ulcers which could eventually kill your pet.

I do not like to give my dog spicy foods.. but since it got into the trash and ate the wings, it will not die from eating them.. IN THAT CASE.. it is not the spicy-ness that you should be concerned about but the small bones in the wings that, if not digested right, can harm a dog/cat. I NEVER NEVER feed my dog/cat ANY bones of ANY kind

Spicy foods should never be given to a dog. It can cause stomach issues including diarrhea and vomiting, and, in the right amount, could land your dog in the vet's quickly. Also, in large enough amounts, or if given for a long enough period of time, it can be fatal.

dogs should eat food made for them ones with out a lot of filler as far as spicy it could cause stomach ditress and create a picking eater

Table food is bad anyways, spicy foods can make them throw-up, have stommach pains, and it can hurt them in other ways too.

of course. all human food is bad for a dog, and i think spicy wings will definately make your dog a little sick. he/she might throw up or something.

I would be more concerned about the chicken bones, than the spiciness of the hot wings. Chicken bones can splinter and tear the dogs throat/stomach, etc. You might want to get him or her checked out. Good luck.

Well, the bones are what I'd worry about. My mom had a Shih-tzu that loved to eat jalapenos and it never seemed to bother her. But I would check to see if your dog got any of the chicken bones, if so, I'd definitely call the vet about it as they can be dangerous to a dog cuz they splinter.

yes it's very bad to give your dog spicy foods. as a matter of fact it's not good to give your dog table food peroid. it changes the smell and the releasing of their stool.
