My dwarf hamster just had a litter of three. and she moved all of them down to the bottom of the cage but one. Why did she leave one of them by itself? Can I save or move it?

i found a dog yesterday in the middle of the street where she wouldn't move even when cars were coming so my family agreed to give her food and shelter until we find her owner she has a collar so i know she has an owner she started limping yesterday we noticed the limping comes and goes what could this mean? how can i find her owner? i hardly know the people in my neighborhood and i cant print out flyers cause im out of ink untili tomm she cries sometimes could it be something serious or that she misses her owner...please help thanks

My dog took a bite out of my box turtle, tearing off part of its shell. Unfortunately there are no available vets near me. I called everywhere and one vet did give me instructions on how to care for the wound. I forgot to ask about pain medicine. Is there anything I can give my turtle to help w/ her pain? Thanks.

with my 5month old pit. Because the pit could kill it even in play. Is it ok to own both animals if I keep them seperated? As in put the pit up and let chihuahua out ,and vice versa? When I have them out at the same time the chihuahua runs and hides while the pit trys to sniff her. I keep the chihuahua in the sunroom and the pit in the basement. Will they ever be able to be out at the same time?

My dog, Lady keeps having recurring outbreaks. The diagnosis was made by a lab from samples taken from the vet. Treatments with Prednisone 10mg have given some relief. After treatment Lady may stay cleared up for a couple of weeks but soon has a relapse. Of course with the treatments of Prednisone she inflates like a basketball and it causes her to be unable to control her bowel and bladder. Hair loss, and itching are prevalent prior to treatment. She has been on this current treatment at least 3 times but continues to have outbreaks.

My kitten always hides under my bed and does his business under there at the same spot . He has his litter box. Where he can use it . I'm tired of haveing moveing my bed around everyday. Just to clean it up. Please help me. I just worry everytime he goes under there. I dont know if he's playing or doing his business. How can I make him understand not to do that. Thanks.

i have an american fuzzy lop and he always seems to have problems with ileus or something that might lead to ileus. unfortunately, i am not from the states (i got him as a gift from my pal in usa) and the vets here don't have a clue about rabbits. i keep his cage super clean, i clean it with baby wipes. he also has a litterbox and i clean it immeadiately when i see he has produced stool. i feed him pellets of Genesis brand and also some parsley and apple every day. he can eat hay whenever he wants to but i've noticed he doesn't do it often. why is that. is that causing the problem with his stomach and sth that might eb ileus related. the thing is, his stool is not soft. a lot of times i can see he struggles as if he had cramps. i can see this causes him pain. i have a syrup to speed up his metabolism but he can get addicted to it. i dont want to use it often. so i just give him a piece of apple instead.

what can i do about it? how do i make him eat more hay and stop the pain.

our pet cat tinku was injured.today morning we kept him in a box n took him to the hospital but on the way he jumped ffrom the box n went into a waste land.we called him but he didnt come.myfather did more than his best but he refused to come.3 times he jumed from the box n went into that land.all this happened in the morning.in the evening also we went to see him.he is very afraid of my dad now.i called him from standing in the next house n he came out.we gave him biscuits n water.he ate all the biscuits but when we kept him in the box he came out n ran.i closed the box tightly but even though he came out through a small gap.we all r much worried about him.but my dad says that he will come back within two days.he had never gone to that place b4.will he come back?im much worried.im in tears.ffriends plz tell me.my mom says that he will come after her if she calls him.again tomorrow we r going to try to bring him back.will he come with us?

My husband and I are in a bit of a moral dillema right now. We adopted our female cat with the impression that she "tolerates" dogs. This is what our local humane society told us. We are planning on getting a dog, but after observing her behavior, it's become obvious to us that she does not tolerate dogs. She attacks without provocation. On the contrary, their mere presence seems to be provocation enough. To top things off, our male (who is normally peaceful, and will hide from anything that comes at him) has become VERY protective of her. The two of them tag-teamed our neighbor's dog last night, scratching her nose up pretty (she's a Burnese Mountain Dog, too....not exactly small). So now we don't know what to do. Should we give her back to the HS even though her chances of being adopted would be slim? (She's 3 years old). Or should we try and find a home for her ourselves? I worry about giving her to someone who would declaw her and such.

I have an indoor cat and just found live small maggot-like worms feeding on a deposit in his litter box and some fungus like spores on other deposits. I have never seen this in 30 years of owning cats. Any clues what this is? Oh yes - I live if far east Asia now.
