My cat got severely ill when i swithch to dry cat food only, to try to control his weight. He was only on it for 2 weeks and in that time he developed an erroded bladder. He very nearly died. He had access to water and did drink a lot, but still had serious health problems. His bladder will never recover and he is on special low Ph wet food and pills for the rest of his life. I wanted to know if anybody out there feeds their cats dried only, and please let this be a warning to u if u do.

I'm caring for my friend's boy. He doesnt have a collar so I was looking into getting one for him. I heard rolled leather was the best for longhaired breeds but....my friend is a veggie head and I dont wanna upset her by putting hide on her dog. Is there a such thing as rolled pleather collars?

I moved a few months ago. But could not take my cats. They stayed at my parents house. one of them pees and poops all over in the basement. she seemed to stop for a few days, then started again. I have cleaned the floor with bleach and pet odor remover. Any one have any other suggestions? Thank you

My cat(nutered male) had some bladder stone issues about six months ago, I took him to the vet, they got them out without surgery and gave me prescription food, recently he began having trouoble peeing again so I took him to the vet again, this time they couldnt squeeze them out. They sent some samples out to be tested and he is now home waiting the results. On the sheet which they break down what was done, they gave him antibiotics and Flocilin? WHat is Flocilin?

I just got 4 new baby corn snakes. Last night i fed all of them strips of raw chicken. All of them didnt hesitate to eat it. My question is, will chicken be enough nutrients rather than a whole mouse? Im thinking mice is better because they have organs and bones and stuff. So, stick with chicken or go with mice?

we got a new horse about 2 days ago . it isn't ours we are just boarding it for a friend. its a 3 year old gelding and he's usually gentle and friendly. but sometimes he acts like he wants to nip or bite us. he actually nipped my brother this morning, now he has a small bruise, but it never drew blood or tore the skin. why is he doing this? how can I prevent him from doing it again?

i got a kittten when i had an elderly cat. the kitten loved the elderly cat, but the elder didnt like the kitten much. about a year later, the elder cat died. ever since, shes slept more, been less playful, got kinda fat. i think shes depressed. sometimes she go and looks for her in the room the elderly used to stay. is there anything i can do?

Got a cat today it was very nervous hid behind settee. I put it in kitchen no doors or windows open and it has VANISHED im serious, kitchens not that big and ive looked all ove rit.Got it from cats protection league they are coming to check it tmw and its gone? where could it possibly be? my puppy is 8 months old and all it does is bark at anyone and sometimes it mite snap at people but not bite them, and it jumps on the table and eats are food, every onther week it goes (crap and pee) in my house but the dog is sooooooo cute and I love it and i cant leave it outside just to hard what to do!?
