The part above the beek and below the fether line (cerce) will be tan to light pink if its a girl, and blue to purple if its a boy. Usually they hit maturity at about 6 months.

The Australian Shell parakeet, the kind we usually have as a pet, can be sexed by the color of the cere, the fleshy place where the nostrils are. In an adult bird, in the male it is Blue. In the female it is tan. It is more difficult to tell in a baby bird.

i had a parakeet one was light blue and other was light green both were boys

Bring it to a vet and they will run a test to find out the sex of your bird
