male and really friendly my chihuahua is scared to death of it and runs and hides whenever it comes around. Is there anything I can do to ease her fears and get them to interact the pit wants to play but but my dog is to afraid?

the cat's stitches are gone. I called the vet and they rudely told me I'd have to pay for another surgery, well it cost too much the first time. I tried liquid bandaid, it did not work, I tried a regular bandaid and a nylon, that did not work. I want to know what could happen to her and what to do about it.

litter box cleaned, several times a day. We have 2 other cats. They don't do this.
It's not on a regular basis. He uses the cat is in charge mat.
If it's spite, why? Is he being lazy and doesn't want to go downstairs. There are 3 litter boxes.
Anyone else relate to this situation with your pet(s)?.

My parakeet sits on the floor of the cage. She will not eat or drink.
I put the lower perch as low as it wiil go and she has got on it a few times but almost fell off. Her head is twitchy. when I put my hand in the cage she will go around in circles instead of getting on the top perch. Help what is wrong? could the food that I have been feeding her cause the problem?

my dogs eyes constantly run i think he has an infection ive tryed all the eye drops in pet shops , milk , tea bags all sorts but its still running can you give them human eye drops has anyone gave then to your dog before??? thanks for answering!!!

my last dog died about. . . 4 years ago. i still miss him, and i really really realllllly want to et anotehr one. but my parents still keep refusing and refuse to give me a straight answer why!!
im lonley and i have to babysit my sibs daily. and. . .I just really need a dog or something of my own (no hampsters ....eyuck!!)
please, any suggestiong on how to make my parents get me a dog? or pursued them?

I just posted this question but nobody actually answered it. I asked, what do YOU look for? I didnt ask for advice on getting a dog for myself because I already know what I want. Some people want to take care of a dog that needs special care bc they like that they need to depend on them. Some like really energetic dogs and so on.

I am considering opening a pet store in the northeast and I would like to get some input from dog and cat owners as to what they feel would be important to them. First, let me say I will not be selling pets (only supplies), however, I would like to do a pet of the week, for example a local cat or dog available from a local shelter or rescue organization. I will sell only premium cat and dog foods, such as wellness, solid gold, etc. Of course I am a pet lover, and know what I like to see, however, I would like to get other opinions on this. Yes, he has toys and bones to chew, etc., but chews up other strange things. He hasn't been to the vet for anything he's chewed as yet.

My dog was diagnosed with a rare form of oral cancer, a large tumor on his lower gum. We've twice had it removed for comfort reasons, and in the process he lost a lot of teeth. The vet said the dog had about 6 months. That was 18 months ago. The dog appears fine. He is a large (190 lb) neo mastiff. He still eats, plays, loves. Do you think dogs have the power to go on, and love like people???

Dear People, a young, homeless cat is regularly visitting me, and I think he brought flees into my house. I've treated him with fronline yesterday (but most of it went on his hair instead of on the skin), and I cleaned and sprayed the house. My problem is that I scratch and I have a feeling that some mini insects are in my hair and on my skin -especially neck, legs, arms, genetials, back, I also have red marks. But there are absolutely NO flees to see. But I did find eggs and 'flee-****' on the cat blanket (which i have thrown away). My question is IF IT CAN REALLY BE FLEES OR NOT? It also scratches when I am at work (where it's very clean and there are no animals) but I thought that I would NOT be able to carry the flees or their eggs around with me, on me...PLEASE HELP so that I can do something fast! Thanks.

He lives with 4 other fish and a frog. Lately, I have seen him chase the frog and the cories for their food (see question in "Other: Pets".) He has never had an aggression problem. He has always been the shyest in the tank. I know gouramis sometimes have aggression problems though.

But how do I get him to stop!!!!???? The cories and frog hate it!!!!
