I'm serious! I think my cat has a problem. She is only a year old and she's HUGE. If we leave cat food out she eats it until it is all gone and then cries for more. We have two cats and she will eat both bowls of food at a time! It seems like all she does is eat. I don't know what to do. Our other cat is two years and has a normal build so I don't think it is the cat food. What can we do to fix this problem? We are really worried about her health.

I have pampered pomeranian, and she keeps pulling up one of her back feet and limping around. There doesnt seem to be anything visibly wrong with the foot. And half the time she's still storming around the house full speed. Before you answer "take her to the vet" let me just say i have four kids i barely afford, lol, and unless pooch is at deaths door i cant justify the expense. She's not in pain. Could she be doing it for attention?

I have about a 6 or 7 month old kitten that is picky on what she eats. Her sister can eat about anything we by. However, she has a habit of scraping the food dispenser out and playing with it and not eating the kitten food. I thought she would like meow mix however, what should I try to feed her?

I have a 55 G tank with 4 cichlids in it. They range from 2 to 1.5 inches in length. There is one that will not let his tank mates rest. They each have plenty of hiding places, but this bully will chase the others around all day long. What can I do with this cichlid?

i just got a puppy.. they told me its a rottweiler.. BUT it doesnt look like one.. i mean its face does and everything.. but its light brown! (and it looks like her fur is turning black everywhere but her head) .. it has no dark or ligther spots over her eyes.. and they told me she was born with no tail.. so my quesiton is.. do i have a rottweiler and is it really possible for her to be born with no tail?..((they gave me the pup i didnt pay for it.. and i was just wondering))

Children have to learn how to walk. Birds have to learn how to fly. But do fish have to learn how to swim.

Her kits have now started eating on their own since one week ago, but they still will not drink milk or water from a bowl, only from their mother. This is unusual because the previous litters, started to eat and accept drinks at the same time. She had 5 kits and now is getting fed up with them and seems to have little milk now. Although she still feeds them maybe 3-4 times a day, but only for a couple of minutes.
I want to wean them fully, as I want to get her speyed this time. Should I completely seperate her from them, hoping that when they are thirsty they will drink?

Another questiion. Is it possible for her to get pregnant again while she is still nursing them?

Hope someone can give me advice. Thanks

My cat is about 5 years old. He always pees in his box, but maybe a quarter of the time he takes a dump on the basement carpet, even if his box is clean. For awhile he got into the habit of doing that ALL the time, and I started punishing him severely for it. But like I said, he still screws up like 1/4 of the time. I don't get it.

Ok ; this is just to help someone out in getting the best answer question but humor us all as well :) we all hear about the funny cat & dog stories but I think that today I witnessed one of the funniest things ever . Today I went out & let Rudy (My Ferret) out of her cage ; I always let her run around my room if I'm going to be gone a long time so she isnt crammed in her cage . But anyway , I came home & opened my door to find her with a toilette paper roll stuck on her head - I swear it's one of the funniest things I have ever seen - I felt so bad for her but it was adorable . I have a tame cockatiel who is a screamer. The bird store suggested that perhaps he/she needs another bird. My neighbors are beginning to get annoyed. Does anyone have experience with this? If we get Gonzo a friend would it be better if it were same sex or opposite? Gonzo is a mutation and hence difficult to determine sex, but we've heard that males scream the loudest.
