friendly enough, but should I be afraid do to the fact she doesn't really know me? Is it to late to train her seeing as though I'm not the original owner? My main question is at 5 months old should I be afraid of this dog?

My husband and I just got a 7 week old kitten last night. Sooo cute, but his claws keeps getting caught on our large weave carpetting. How often should they be clipped? I'm going out today to get some clippers but am scared to do it to him even though I know it is something that needs to be done. Any words of advice for this?

I'm hoping to get a ball python within the next few months. I don't have much experience finding breeders and I was wondering th best way to go about finding one. I'm located in Northern NY and there is nothing up here, closest city is Syracuse, and that's about a 2.5 hour drive. I am not looking for any special morph, just a normal ball. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

This morning our dog passed away, he was 16 and had a long, good life. 2 months ago we lost our dog Boldie who was 13. The pain of losing both of them so close together is almost unbearable. Will the pain every go away? How do you deal with the loss of your pets?

We recently brought home a 3 month old puppy that we adopted out of a shelter and we are trying to potty train him to go outside to do his business...the problem is he seems to only want to go in 1 corner or room of the house. We feed/water him and then about 45 minutes later we can take him outside for over an hour and nothing, but as soon as we come back into the house he goes right to the corner - it's very frustrating. When I take him out , I praise and reward him with a treat for "going" pee outsidem but then he'll do the other as soon as we come back inside. I think they may have started to paper train him at the shelter, but I want him to learn to only go outside. How can I break him of one habit he's already been trained to do and get him to follow our potty wishes. HELP!

my mom's male cat is neutered, but keeps marking/urinating on walls. he has an adequate litter box which he uses, but he keeps marking everywhere on the walls. he is a very sweet cat, other than this. we are even trying the plug in fermone stuff, but w/ no good results. any good advise please. we don't want to get rid of him, but i don't want him pissing all over my house either. thanks.

i recently bought myself a japanese akita, i got it for a rather nice little price, the problem is it didnt come with papers.does anyone know how i can go about getting papers for it, i only know that the last owners bought her off a farm in ayrshire. and they claim to have paid 600 pound for her. if anyone could help me here, it would be great x
