aquarium stores will not raise pleco's (or any other fish) but they will be able to source out the type of pleco you are looking for. I would suggest that you deal with a store that specializes in fish (in Ontario i would suggest aquarium services)

Check any LFS in your local area. Don't buy plecos from on-line.
