The only thing you can do is contact the people you bought the dog from, they should have the papers if the dog is registered.
If you like the dog does it really matter?

Unfortunately if the breeder hasnt registered the litter she came from then she will have no papers. Breeders sometimes do not register litters if they have an accidental litter. I think breeders are only allowed to breed once or twice a year from the same female dog so if there has been an accidental mating they usually sell the litter cheaper and not register them. We have had akitas for years now and they are lovely dogs. Hopefully you have seen the mother and father and checked out their temperament. Akitas are lovely but they are strong, stubborn dogs and need a firm hand.

IT depends it sounds like they took you for a bit of a ride all registered dogs go out with papers that's why you pay the price you need to get a hold of the breeder that bred her /him and they will let you know but it sounds like you love him/her to bits so a bit of paper wont change anything really the only reason you will need the papers is if you were looking to breed or show

Hi your best bet would be to check out the Kennel Club of Great Britain, cos to be honest they are the only people who can help you.It does not matter how much you pay for a dog if the owners are not registered with them then they can`t sell puppies as Pedigree. You will find them via your vets or doing search on google for Kennel Club UK or Great Britain.

Guess your only option is the Kennel Club(UK), we got our Golden Retriever as a rescue dog almost 10 years ago now and she didn't come with papers either, we were only allowed to have her on that condition because they got sick of people selling the dogs on for profit, I can understand why they do that, but it would have been lovely to know what pedigree our dog came from and what line she followed, we never bothered trying because it just seemed like too much hassle, but good luck and I hope you find out.

i can save you a lot of time you cannot get papers for a dog that has been sold without papers unless you know the fathers name (pedigree name ) that is and a copy of his papers and the same for the mother and even then your knot guaranteed , hope this helped , "B"

It's a pain in the aft end to get an animal papers if they didn't come with them. First you have to establish the mother/father and if they were registered, if they weren't then you don't have a chance. Good Luck!

An animal can only be registered by the breeder/original owner.

the chances are your 'nice little price' puppy was stolen or is a puppy farm dog.If she has no papers she is probably not even purebred and even if she is, there is no way you can get papers for her in any case.
