The shower, first clean the area that the dog goes now with somthing that takes away pet oders. Your dog smells the odor of dog feses and will go in this area.
Keep your puppy in the shower with the door closed all the time, put his food, water, blankey, and toys in there. Take the dog out side every two hours, while you are out run your puppy, play chase, fetch, and rub her belly. Rubbing the belly helps to stimulate poo-poo, if your puppy goes to the bathroom while outside, praise him tell him hes a good dog, now you can go inside, play a little while longer with your puppy inside but not as vigorous as you did out side, then put her back in the shower.
If your puppy dose not go to the bathroom while you are out side, don't play inside with her, place him right back in the shower.
In a matter of just a few weeks your Puppy will be trained.
I used the shower because the puppy poo smell can be easily cleaned and won't linger. At night and while you are away for awhile a few months or so keep the puuppy in the shower even after they are trained. If an accident dose occur make sure you clean the area very good, because the odor can untrain your puppy to go in that area.
I have done this with two dogs, it was recommended to me by a fellow dog owner. The first one was a mini-schnauzer, and the second was a chow/whatever -mix, it worked both times within a few weeks. Both dogs stayed inside while I worked and my daughter went to school and never messed.

It will take a little extra time and effort because of his age and what he probally is already used to. But there two sprays you can buy at pet stores. One will discourage him from going in certain areas where you spray and the other is for outside. It smells like urine and for whatever reason when you spray it outside they go. Both are just training aides. Make sure you take him out after he eats, sleeps and plays. A great deal of training is repetition and praise. When he goes inside a very stern and loud "no" works followed by immediately being placed outside. Its just has to be constant attention on your part. There are also grass scent potty pads you buy. It will protect your floor along with ac-customizing your puppy to the smell of grass. Good Luck and do not give up.

If you take him outside on a leash, then he is probably just standing around; you need to walk him. I have the same problem with my dog. Every morning I have to take her for a walk, usually takes about a half a block and she always goes to the bathroom. If you are just standing outside with the dog, they can hold it forever and I do mean forever. If you have the dog in the back yard, play with the dog to get it to move around; it will go. And when you go to bed at night, put the dog in a box just big enough for him to lay down in. Put a blanket in there and a soft toy. Make sure the box is tall enough that he can't jump out. Dogs will not go potty in their sleeping area, so when he has to go potty, he will whine and cry. Get up and take him out. If you do this for about a week, you will have him potty trained.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aL1Yc
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

well, as soon as he goes inside, show it to him while scolding, pick it up, and throw it outside and then show it to him again. If you have to, leave him outside for hours on end until he goes. tie him to a stake in the ground or something. eventually once he realizes it is ok to go outside, then i think he will go. he probably needs to spend more time outside also. You may need to clean the spot where he goes inside to get his sent out of it. the sent is why they think they can go in one spot. it's like they think it is ok if it smells like them.

There's no potty training for puppies. Sorry to say. Just bring him/her outside and let it leak.
