Chihuahuas have a different personality than other breeds.
Female Chihuahuas are naturally very timid, even more than the males & they prefer to socailize with their own breed.
She has good reason to be afraid. She is out sized & out weighed by this dog. Just keep him away from her.
She may never be comfortable around him, so don't make her upset by trying to force them together.

Dogs are like people in many ways, sometimes two people just don't get along...there's no real reason for it, that's just how it is....dogs are the same way.
Try to find her a friend that is closer to her size of better yet another Chihuahua & she'll be a very happy pup!!

Good Luck & give your precious pup big kisses for me!!!

Chihuahuas are scared to death of everything. You better keep them separated or the chihuahua will be lunch for the pit bull. Good Luck Chuck

i desire your dad did not pay this terrible breeder any funds. The doggy would desire to nonetheless be with the breeder for yet another 4 weeks, yet whilst the breeder is that undesirable, then possibly it quite is ultimate the doggies are not with them. besides, do checklist them on your community ASPCA, Humane Society, and so on and tell them the placement, because it is unlawful in maximum states to grant or sell doggies earlier 8 weeks of age, mama or no. a stable breeder might have stored the doggies regardless. besides, call your vet and communicate over with them. The doggy hasn't had any photos, i don't care what the breeder says. without papers showing it had any photos, her be conscious isn't nicely worth crap, not that i might have faith the papers have been actual, besides. Edit: To the 1st poster..particular, it quite is available for a doggy to be a Pit Bull, Chihuahua. If the father became the Chihuahua, meaning the mama laid down and permit him tie along with her. it is not rocket technology. I knew a dogs that became so butt gruesome he became attractive. He became a Pit Bull/Dachshund combination. i understand yet another dogs it is GSD/Chihuahua combination, and so on and so on and so on.

A 5 month old pit could easily kill your Mexican rat, even accidentally. Seems your dog has more sense than you.

your dog needs to be properly socialized - small dogs are often "babied" so they are frightened of bigger dogs - take it to Obedience lessons and dont coddle it..
your friends dog should go to Obedience lessons as well.. because all puppies need to learn proper puppy manner big or small

Obedience lessons not only teach "sit" and "stay" they stimulate parts of the brain so they help your dog be a better dog all round
