Take the dog to the vet immediately for an assessment or go to an animal hospital for treatment.
DO NOT put this off if you love your pet.

The hair will come out if she is licking at her wounds. that is natural. But I would definatly take her to the vet for a check up, because you never know whats going on inside. She could have internal injuries or broken bones. Dogs are not like humans. It will not be obvious if she is injured.

I can't imagine why you wouldn't have thought to take her to the vet whether she appeared to have serious external injuries or not. There could be serious internal injuries. Would you have taken your child to the doctor had he been hit by a car?

Watch her closely for any signs of internal injury. Limping, drowsiness, bloody stools, loss of appetetite, changes is energy levels. If you see any od these then you'd better go to the vet asap. Hope this helps!

that's natures way of healing ,if a dog gets hurt in the wild it keeps its wounds disinfected by licking them, the hair will grow back again

I suggest you take your poor animal to the vet...It is probably some injury caused from the accident..(maybe its brain damage?)hmmmm..... very interesting case though....poor thing. People have no heart for animals these days..Just run them over!!!!(what a piss off!)>_<

How much to you value your dog? Better be safe than sorry. If it was your child, you would not even hesitate taking them to the doctor.
