My parents have had many mini dachshunds. They have had names like Coty, Taco, Burrito, Prince, Snoopy. Or you could always go for simple names like my dog, Thomas. Officially his name is Hillside's Terror Thomas. I have also heard other unique names such as big dog, short dog (nicknamed shorty) . Good luck, naming is one of the fun parts.
