I wish I could respond to people who answer as if they know everything. When someone asks a question why is it that some people have to be rude about their answer. A yes or no is usually great.

Leaving the dog outside is not an option. I've tried repellant spray and reprimands, but nothing works. I give her treats when she is good.

Two days ago, I noticed that my kitten had some dark brown/blackish stuff on the side of one of his nostrils. I tried my best to look at it but couldn't tell if it was dirt or "crust". I saw that he also had some inside of his nostril. This morning, I was able to clean some of it...it looks a bit like a scab. This evening, I'm noticing a bit on both his nostrils and inside. He's also known to have crusty eyes, not all the time but often enough.

Is there any way to tell if it's just food, dirt, or if it is an infection?

Wondering if anyone has had the same experience? I don't want to panic and take him to the vet for no reason.

I ask this because I have never really had a pet that was kept in the house--unless you count goldfish. A few times when I was a kid, we did keep a cat in the house, but mom always ended up putting it back outside because she didn't like having an animal in the house. I have known some people who keep dogs and cats inside, and their houses are pretty clean--but maybe they just clean house religiously.

My german shepard is about 115 pounds. I use the Advatage flea control designed for dogs 55 pounds and over. They don't make it for dogs any bigger. I gave him a bath today and found that he had a ton of fleas on him. I use the same for my other dog that is 55 pounds. I am thinking of using 1 and 1/2 or 2 doeses on him.

This dog was found abandoned 4 days ago. I have adopted it and was curious. I realize this is not the best photography but any guess is appreciated. By the way the dog has seen a vet and is being treated so keep all comments on the condition of the dog to yourself. Thanks.

I want to start riding again, but I heard a few scary stories about horse riding accidents. My dad knows someone who's daughter died because she broke her neck falling off. She was a good rider. Also what happened to Christopher Reeve. I want to start again so badly, but hearing about these accidents is scary. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

It must be tropical, a community fish, only 1-2 1/2 inches long when it's an adult, and under $5. No goldfish!!!! Please, goldfish ARE NOT tropical, and need atleast 20 gallons. I will report you if you say goldfish.

I already have mollies, gouramis, and cories, now what should I get? Give me a long paragraph and possibly pictures or a website about them. If you just say "Betta", I WILL REPORT YOU. I am NOT asking you to name a fish, I am asking you to give me a fish and to tell me information about it. Be careful, the instructions are specific. And if one person gives me info on a tetra, DON'T GIVE ME INFO ON A TETRA AGAIN. I ONLY NEED ONE PARAGRAPH ON EACH FISH.

So please help?????

Ok Ive heard alot of people say that if your fish is suffering then you should "put it down" by putting it in a ziplock bag and putting it in the freezer and freezing it so you can properly dispose of it. Does this hurt them? Or can they not feel it?
