My Westie is 11 years old and is generally in good health. Lately he has been acting like he feels sick right after eating. He eats dry kibbles, the same kind he's always eaten and they've never affected him before. I'm overly cautious about him so I always fear the worst and want to make sure he doesn't have stomach cancer but I haven't been able to find anything about if dogs exhibit symptoms. Anyone know?

My chihuahua is epileptic and requires daily meds which are fairly inexpensive. Other than her meds and once in a while check-ups and blood tests, she doesn't see the vet. So, I'm wondering if it's really necessary to purchase insurance for "in case" purposes.

Our dog does not stop scratching! Benadryl does not seem to help. Someone suggested using the herb nettles. Wil this work?

I wonder if this service is provided in pet clinics and if yes, is it harmful for the kitten? And how fast do the claws grow back? Thank you!

OK, I have a serious problem. There are these yellowish worms in my Nanday's bird cage. I have NEVER had a problem like this before. I have had my bird for over ten years and this is the first time I have seen anything like it. I don't see them inside the cage, but on his blanket.

Yesterday, I found them on his cover so I threw the cover away, outside. I scrubbed the cage, threw away the old bedding, toys and then replaced the bedding.

Today, I saw another worm on his new cover.

This is gross and totally freaking me out. Does anyone know what this could be or how to get rid of it? My poor bird can't have these worm things living by him!

Thanks so much for any help.

What is so wrong about wanting to breed my dog? I have had all the checks done to make sure she is in excellent health and i have had all my other pets neutered to make sure they do not breed, have pet insurance, yearly booster injections but people still feel like they have the right to insult me and say i a bad pet owner and this really annoys me, they do not know nothing about me or my pets and i think that if you dont know the facts then you have no right to insult anyone, How many of you out there find that people judge you badly without knowing all the facts? and if no one ever breed from their dog then there would be no dogs left for anyone to own and love!!! my dogs are like my children and i care for them the same as i would a child this is why i am so angry at being insulted

I think a Pomeranian and a poodle would be cute, or a Border Collie and a Cocker Spaniel.

I have a three year olf newfy male. I run around 3 miles a day. I want to know if running will hurt his joints, seeing as he is such a big dog. He hasent shown any pain, but i'm worried about the long term effects.
