My dogs do this too. I think one of the reasons is they feel safe under there, another reason could be because its cooler.

#1 Could be that if your Yorkie is continuing to do the same thing that you are trying to break him/her from doing like chewing/biting at itself. When underneath the bed or couch it can get away with it.
#2 Or it feels most secure there and the space belongs to them.

I had a yorkie and i find them to be a little timid at times. They like to play and hide. Sometimes it is also just their place of refuge

My Maltese does the same thing. He goes under the bed. We even folded up an old comforter for him so he's comfy while under there. I think they seek solace, peace and quiet, and dark.

i would look around for some surprise packages. A dog will usually hide if they have done something naughty.

shes a chicken or she just wants play around do you hit or threaten her if you do than that nay be the reason
