Timmy may think your playing when you push him away. Tell him "no" and make him sit. If he doesn't know how to do that on command, just push down on his hips and repeat the "sit command". I recently had trouble with my St. Bernard puppy biting hands, feet, clothes, whatever he could get ahold of. I tried the "screaming trick" -cry loudly when you get bit so the dog is surprised enough to stop biting- i tried thumping his nose, i tried pushing him away, etc. All this seemed to do was rile him up and make him want to play.
When I had time I would take him for a walk, run around the yard, anything to decrease his energy. This will help with the biting when he's tired, but there's always next time after he rests.
Isolating the dog away from you may work too. The dog bites because he gets a reaction from you and wants your attention, so I tell him "no", thump the nose a little, and put him in his pen.
No dog learns the same, so its whatever way works for you.

That dog needs a good *** whoppin bite the dog and yes you read that right BITE THE DOG BACK you need to be the leader of your pack once you back down he becomes the leader. It is natural for a dog to find out where it stands in the pack or family. You need to the leader of the pack. BITE HIM

Mine usually bites when he has to much energy. I walk him for 1/2 hour after his meals and he does not bite anymore mine is a 4mo old shih-tzu so if your is bigger you should walk him longer. Also you should try crating him that way you don't have to follow him around all night. But make the crating nice for him by giving him treats and praising him when he is in there being good.

We had the same problem with our puppy, the trainer we took her to told us to completely ignore the dog when it bites, or if that doesn't work isolate the dog until it calms down. It took a few weeks but now our puppy is much better behaved.
Good luck.

Every time he bites or opens his mouth to a hand, say "NO!" and slap his nose (not the whole face). If he thinks it's a game, slap the nose harder with the "NO!" until he gets the drift.

Nobody wants a dog they can't trust. It's up to YOU to train him to be a good dog.

dispose the dog anyone that bites with blood coming out is really a dogbite. I mean soon not only household members would be bitten and then maybe you someday.
Our dog when he is playful will cover your hand in his mouth but you can't feel any teeth sinking.

You have to shriek so the dog knows it hurt. They learn from this and will learn to bite softer and softer. They bite as hard as you let them. In nature, they bite each other when they're playing. If it's too hard, the other dog will yelp.

You can buy sprays in the pet store that leaves an awful taste in their mouth, it discourages them from biting or chewing. I used Bitter Apple with my puppy when he was in his chewing stage. He learned quickly hands taste awful. Also make sure your dog knows it is unacceptable, a loud stern voice works fine.

You need to show him who's boss. My husband had a male German Sheperd who bit me on several occasions. One day I got sick of it and did what the Vet said to do, right after he bit me I grabbed his head and bit his ear as hard as I could. He never tried to bite me again and was a lot more obediant.

Have the dog euthanized, or place a muzzles on the dog, or call the dog whisperer.
