which is the better dog? Siba inu or Shetland sheepdog?

Question

which is better behavior, neatness, bark, and exersise, and training wise? should i get one or the other? or both? HELP ME. i am dog crazy and hoping to get a dog once i move out!

I personally like the Shetland Sheepdogs better, they are friendlier in my experience. Also the few Shibas I've known don't really get along well with other dogs, the one in our complex did when he was a pup but now that he's older he doesn't like other dogs anymore.

Shiba Inu Temperament

The Shiba has an independent nature and can be reserved toward strangers but is loyal and affectionate to those who earn his respect. The Shetland Sheepdog is intensely loyal, affectionate, and responsive to his owner. However, he may be reserved toward strangers but not to the point of showing fear or cringing in the ring. Faults-- Shyness, timidity, or nervousness. Stubbornness, snappiness, or ill temper.

If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.

It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

get a shibs inu my moms bf has 3 of them and they are so good i never heard them bark before
