I have a puppy (under 10 lbs) I took to the groomer's and paid $20 dollars to wash, flea dip, clean the ears and trim her nails. I was wondering what was appropriate to tip them.

My puppy's being weird. He's 7 months and he's a husky/chow/pit mix. To start off, when he was about 5-6 months, I brought him to PetSmart so I could maybe socialize him a bit. (NOT PetsMart classes) He reacted very well to a dog who was there and he was really submissive to the other dog. He was also doing well with people too. But around here, he gets scared when people try to pet him and he pees b/c he's so scared. He also pees when someone new comes over (from excitement). After 5 mins, he warms up to them and is fine, but it's like that with every person around here. What's even worse, is if a motorcycle passes by, a lawn mower, weed eater, or big truck, even the UPS truck pass by, he gets scared and freaks out. I've been trying to get him used to these things. I've already gotten him used to barking dogs and he seemed fine when my friend just now passed us on his bike. He used to be afraid of bikes. But anyway, will he grow out of this? And no, I don't baby him when he's scared.

I'm just wondering, becuase I realized the other day, my cat has been to the vet more times in the last four years, then I have been to the doctor in the last eight years....

What has worked for you to help prevent cats from marking? I find it amazing that they are marking not only furniture, but clothes, pots...well just about everything! First of all they are fixed and have been checked by the vet.

I sometimes wake up sneezing cuz my cat curls up right next to my cheek and puts its face next to mine when Im sleeping. I love my cat but i think im alergic. I have to take 24hr allergy pills every day. what should i do?? also sometimes my face itches?? Is that alergic reaction too??

A teddy bear once owned by Elvis Presley has been horribly mangled - by a hound dog.

Barney the guard dog ripped the head from the antique teddy called Mabel after going berserk and savaging more than 100 bears in an exhibition.

The doberman pinscher, who was meant to be guarding the £500,000 collection, went on the rampage after his handler let him off the leash.

He ripped the limbs from many of the helpless bears and left some with "saliva damage", reports the Mirror.

Mabel, the centrepiece of the exhibition at Wookey Hole, Somerset, came off worst. Her head was left hanging by a thread.

Mabel's owner Sir Benjamin Slade, who paid £40,000 for the 1909 teddy at a Memphis auction, was said to be "absolutely furious".

Barney's handler Greg West thinks the hound may have taken revenge on Mabel because he was jealous.
Greg, 36, said: "Barney has been a model guard dog for over six years. He's never done anything like this before"

the german shepard mix is a little smaller than the rottweiler but she's still a good 60 pounds, i'd say. the rottie is about 90 pounds.
