I take him for walks but whenever I leave for any length of time, he poops upstairs or even jumps on my coffee table. I know he's done his business in the morning, because I watch him to make sure he does. However, he STILL leaves those little packages for me when I get home. Any advice?

Does anyone know how to make him listen when he is not on a leash? I have a two year old that keeps letting him out of the house and when he is loose he runs and thinks we are playing with him. The problem is he wont come when called. We did do training but that did not work. Even the trainer said he is a very stubborn dog. We did PetSmarts training. He did both puppy and basic but they will not allow him into advanced cause he will not listen. Just now he got out and nearly was hit. We do lock the doors so our son does not let him out as much but our son is learning how to un-lock the doors. Please anyone who has a dog who listens how did you do it? I don't want him to get hit! He is going to be two years old in December.

Not a whole lot of it. But here and there when she climbs up on the couch when im eating chips and wants some ill break her off a piece of a chip like the size of my pinky fingernail. Is that bad for her? What foods can cats absolutely not have? Like i know with dogs its chocolate..what about cats? & is giving her little pieces of food bad?

hardly anyone even knows what one is, most people think he is a pit bull. He is the smartest and coolest dog ever! Just curious if there are other AB lovers out there.

I have hesrd may things to use on my horses hair. Her mane and especially her tail hairs are VERY course. Much courser than the other Paints at the barn. This makes detangleing a gruelling experience on my hands. Not to mention the little cuts I get on my fingers. I have heard Mane and Tail, Cowboy Majic and Show Sheen work good two. What on is Best? Any suggestions?

I got one a month ago from a pet store and she has been sweet from day one. I got another one a week ago and he is aggresive. I even had to seperate the two of them because of the fighting. Everytime I try to mess with him he attacks me. How do I tame him?

I have a beautiful 6 year old chow/terrier mix named princess. My fiance and I adopted her from the SPCA about 3 years ago. She has been wonderful!!! Great with kids, perfectly potty trained, great manners, learns new things, just a god send. Anyway about 4-5 months ago out of the blue she has started to have accidents in the house and started chewing things. At first we brushed it off that is was an accident but it became a daily thing. One of us can take her out and she will potty and pee and we can leave for 30 min and come back and she will have had an accident. We aren't sure what to do. We took her to the vet to see if she has a bladder infection but nope she's good. I need help any ideas to help her out. We lover her to death and I can tell this is really bothering her too. When we come home she cowers and looks so sad (we would NEVER lay a hand on her so it breaks my heart to see her cower like that) please any advice would be wonderful!!

Is it weird to be so attached to your family dog, that when you had to put him to sleep at 5 years old from cancer to still be upset and cry about it months later, plus we have a new puppy, so he kinda reminds me of my old dog.

I have 2 pekingese, and I live in the HOT sunny south. Is there a popular trim out there that would keep them cool without taking away from their distinct look?

I would like to get an american staffordshire (female) and I live in a large condo. There is no yard, but plenty of parks and sidewalks to run and excercise in nearby.

I plan on walk/running the dog before work and then again when I get home after the gym. Dog would be home alone from 8am until roughly 6:30 when my fiance get home. I would get back around 7. Is this too much time alone? I suspect it is and I do not want to crate the dog that long. I imagine Dog daycare costs a bundle in the Hartford, ct area.

Ideas?
