mother left me her precious pooch ...but it bit my son........ I inherited my Mothers 5 yrs old Bull terrier named Adam. I promised to care for him ,just as well as she had.That was three and a half years ago.
The problem is that my son is three and a half years old and he got ruff with Adam (pulled hard on his ears)Adam responded by nipping and my three and a half year old son pulled away (i think)and it tore his skin (no stitches need)
MY question is ......will this reck their relatonship?if it did ,what would i do?I promised my late mother i would look after Adam for his remaining years..IS there any danger to my son ?or the dog?
Note:I DONTleave them alone together,but my husband forgets sometimes........................
My mother only trusted me to give Adam the way she had.....And she never asked anything of me BeforeI dont Know what to do.

I hope to retire in a few years and I would like to travel the US in an RV with two dogs. The main problem is that one of them is a pitt bull, which are illegal in some places. He's very sweet, has always been a house pet. How can I find out before I go somewhere if we will be welcome?

She (the human) does this thing where she pokes the dog with her foot or hand, then draws it back so the dog instinctively lunges at her hand/foot and nips it.

I am obviously trying really hard at this point to discourage all nipping and jumping at people. This game had her all in a frenzy. Should I just ask people nicely not to play games like thta with her, at least while she is so young and not fully trained yet?

i want to buy a dane and i wanna make sure that he will be ok if i put him in my balcony! but ill build him a wooden house its not small its around 8 meters sq.

i have a 8 month old rotti im using her as a guard/watchdog im not training her how to bite 'properly' because she doesnt need it a rottis bite is hard enough! at what age will she start to protect and is there games or anything else i should do to help her along?

ok the thing is my cat micky just came back from being lost for the past three days now he is scared of everything and he doesnt let anyone touch him and he is so weak he cant even climb on the chair or the couch and before he got lost he could jump around climb on everything and now he is limping and walks really slow what should i do????
