Not sure about entire states but certain cities do. I know for a fact that Miami, FL has a ban on pit bulls. Otherwise, just google it.

I really don't think there are any states that have made it illegal to have pitbulls. Although some are probably considering it. I know in the town I used to live in there have been a bunch of pit bull attacks in the last month. Attacks on other dogs as well as people. For the first time ever the city is thinking of making an ordinance banning these dogs. Sorry pitbull lovers, I think it's about time. I've known too many people who were attacked by their "sweet-natured, loving, well-trained, well-behaved" pitbulls.

As far as I know, in Australia, it's not illegal to have pitbulls in any state but it is to breed them... don't know about any other country

for the usa i dont know but in France the are banned an dpeople who owne dthem ha dto put them down, they are very dangerous dogs. they are killers
