What has worked for you to help prevent cats from marking? I find it amazing that they are marking not only furniture, but clothes, pots...well just about everything! First of all they are fixed and have been checked by the vet.

Usually if its a male they'll grow out of it in time sorta like when a puppy will nip people, it'll usually grow out of it in a year or 2 if not less.. . .

If there are other cats outside, they will mark inside. I know this sounds strange, but get a male (human) to pee outside around your house- only if there are other cats outside of course. This will keep the other cats away from your house. I know it sounds nuts- but it worked for me.
