Depends on the fish. Some eat other fish, some eat crustaceans, some eat algae and others eat coral polyps.

depends on the species - like the freshwater fish. Some will be herbivorius [eat vegtables and glaze algae from the aquarium glass] some are carnivorius [other fish and meat], filter feeding [eating just plankton], omnivorius [virtually everything]. Some will except commercial food but some not.

All fish require a variety off meals to maintain them in sturdy well being. you choose to contemplate the nutritional standards of that particular fish. whether it fairly is an algae grazer you would be able to desire to feed extra algae based meals. would you consume a similar element daily? you could feed freshwater nutrition as a take care of or emergency in case you ran out, yet freshwater substances are no longer geared in the direction of marine animals. in case you have countless categories of fish you could create your guy or woman combination that meets the purposes of all your inhabitants.

It really depends on what fish it is. Most will eat Brine Shrimp. That is what I feed mine. Also, some herbivores just eat the algae that is in the tank. Bigger carnivores will eat mysis shrimp. good luck! :)
