depends on their age, if they are kittens, they dont know what the heck you are trying to do. If a huge cow comes up to you and hugs you, wouldent you be uncomtreble? well the cat is probaly not used to you yet. usualy they get better after they get older.

Cats are not dumb, especially not as dumb as the person asking this question! Cats are very observant and love attention and crave attention. They may run away from you because they can feel the negative vibe you give off. In addition, cat's don't smell bad at all. Their litter box may smell, but wouldn't your boo boo smell if it was out in the open with only some pebbles covering it? Hah!

Cats do not speak English, so they act dumb instead. They smell bad, shed fur, leave dirt spots and scratch fabric on the furniture, drapes, carpet and clothes. they won't guard, bark when danger is near, save you from danger or bring you the paper.

But single women like them because they are lonely and need companionship. I truly feel that cats are not God's creatures but Satans'.

Then they crap wherever they want! If that isn't the nerve!

Actualy, cats aren't stinky. I like both, but cats are actualy cleaner then dogs. They can also be trained to do small tricks. They may not be as smart as dogs but they arent dumb. Some cats can be trained to use the bathroom outside. What cats dont have in smarts they make up in cleanliness.

I have had a dog and a cat, and I must say, the cat smells must better. Cats like to stay clean, they are always bathing themselves. Dogs don't. I love both of them equally though.

Cats are not dumb, my cats are trained to go tricks and recognize words such as: supper, waters(a game we play), they come when called and do what they are told. I am so sick of people who think cats are dumb. They are independent and do what they want, when they want. That is what makes them so cool. If you know a cat that smells bad, it's not being taken care of properly, likely a bad diet. Ignorant question.

Hmm, I've never encountered a cat that fits your description. My cat smells better than any dog I've ever smelled. He's smart and he loves attention. He greets me at the door and lays on my lap.

no they're not. Its really the owners fault why they stink. I bathe my kitten once a week since he was 4 wks old. Cats stink if you dont change the litter. sometimes if the litter is dirty, they wont use the bathroom. but they dont eat their own sh*t and vomit like dogs. Plus they can take care of themselves. You're dumb I'll get my cat to bite you
