sounds like you are allergic...what is more important? your smelly cat or your health and sanity? find someone who will adopt and love your cat as much as you do.

Are you self diagnosing an allergy? See a doctor and if it is your cat, the first thing he's going to tell you is to get rid of the cat. I know mine did. Thank goodness I went to another specialist and she treated me for the allergy. After about six months, my symptoms were almost gone, not totally cured, but my allergy diminished so much that I rarely use any drugs anymore. And I got to keep my beautiful Maine Coon cat.

I have these same reactions for dogs or cats. We do not have any pets because of my allergies and my son's.
If it is not meant to be, then give the pet to someone without allergies or to a shelter. This is not a big problem, it's not the animal, it's us.
You will be much better off without a pet and your house will always remain cleaner and fresher without.
P.S. Always wanted a dog when I was a boy.

Yeah sounds like it to me. I also have allergies to cats I take 24 hour a day. Plus I vacuum twice a week as well I find that helps. I also dont let my cat sleep with me. That way I can breath when I wake up. I take inhalers too. You know though she is so worth it!!

Well, I have allergies and I have cats, but not the kind just for cats, you know the year-long kind of allergy for sneezing and stuff, and I think sometimes the kitty hair makes my nose all sensitive and i get all sneezy, so.. it may be that or something. Just because you get sneezing around the kitty, doen't mean it's like, dangerous.

keep the cat out of bed at night, wash bed linen, and start brushing your cat daily this should help lots, no need to get rid of the cat ....just vacuum more often and the cat needs to sleep alone! or not with you

It seems so .So maybe you should start thinking about giving your cat to someone who could take good care of it
