I always took mine in once a year (All six). Now that they are much older they may go more often.
One kitty went in for his annual checkup and possible dental cleaning. Found out his teeth are fine and that his kidney values are up slightly. He will be seen again in six months. He will get more water in his canned food to help his kidneys. He is 14 year old.
My 13 year old had perfect bloodwork and perfect teeth. So she will go in again next summer.
Yes, I do think my cats get more "medical" attention than I do!

It relies upon on the age of the cat. If this is on the older side, i'd propose a minimum of each six months. If this is youthful, a twelve months offering it hasn't been to the vet at fascinated by some thing in the time of that twelve months. this is meant to have a number of this is photographs as quickly as a twelve months and as a result, get the examine up besides. whilst uncertain, ask your vet. this is the main secure way and he/she will comprehend extra approximately your puppy than all people else. i admire to play it risk-free so I take my canines in for tooth cleanings and what no longer a minimum of two times a twelve months, barring the different issues. sturdy success!! canines RULE!!

Minimum of 1 every one year for cats 1-9, over 10 years of age at least twice a year. One of the visits should be a full physical with blood work.

A check up and bringing up to date shots -once a year. In addition to that, if the cat is sick or has other problems, bring the cat in as needed.

minimum once per year. after age of 6, twice a year. this is all, of course, subject to your individual cat's needs. i hear you, my two cats get better health care than me, but i'm sure they'd rather stay home than go to the vet!

Perhaps once a month, or maybe once every two months. We only take our cat to the vet every once in a while when she acts/looks sick... Whatever is best for you.

and they said to come back in a year ... so cats need yearly checkups/ and updates on their vaccines

Yearly visits to the vet are recommended; however, many vets encourage twice-yearly examinations per the article below.
