I have a 11 month old golden retriever, recently he has become very aggressive towards other dogs, any dog he comes up on he tries to dominate, I dont know what happened along the line, hes very well behaved with kids and people, but its just other dogs that he gets violent with, he wasnt like this a month ago, could it be because we live alone? I am going to consult a police dog trainer this afternoon to figure out whats going on and what I can do. Do you have any suggestions?

I am in fairbanks alaska and I know that animals are dieng in shipment, they are being shipped in winter at -60 deg in a plane cargo hold, when i recive they are dead, i cant do anything about it because manager stands over all shipments and i can not have camera, they are very sneeky at hidding these things, i know !, can any one help me with this, i would love to send pics to the media here and to the airlines(alaska airlines) they are just as responsible, they can say "no" we can not ship animals in winter to alaska. I have a Belgian Shepard Mix and his hair down towards his butt is getting fluffy and coming out in the handfulls. Is this shedding season? Normal? I have another dog, but she doesn't have very long hair and doesn't really ever shed.

I am planning on getting her spayed after 1 litter and as far as bringing unwanted pups in the world they won't be, as for finding a home for them they already have one mine. i will not be selling them . i am breeding them with buddy and i have had him from birth for the last 10 years that is why i wanted to breed him now he won't live forever and he so special to me i wanted to raise some puppys with him as their sire . and by buying this new puppy i am providing another dog a home

We just got a Weimaraner pup and at night we close the kitchen off with baby gates so that he doesn't chew everything up at night when we are asleep. He cries the whole night. I don't give in to him, b/c I know that is the worst thing you can do - can someone give me some advice on what to do to control this?

I know if dogs have too much choclate that they get ill and may end up dieing if they don't get to the vet. But what I don't understand is why dogs can't have choclate. Is there anybody who knows why?

For me it would be DOG, I like cats too but after I had my son I became allergic. I think dogs just give a little more back than cats. I hope i do not offend any cat lovers because i like them too and in my lifetime I've had 3, I just can't have them now!

He eats good if you keeps the food in front of him and he fings the water . We have to carry him outside to go and his hind legs are weak . Do you think it's time to put him down ?

I just put him in a cardboard box with some water and some bread crumbs. But he is so terrified of me, he won't eat or drink. Just keeps his little head stuck in the corner. He did try to bite me when I tried to show him his water. Its hot outside here in Los Angeles! Is there hope for him to fly or eat. Should I take him home with me. I am at work. Help!!

I often do door-to-door selling and sometimes I'm confronted with vicious pets, usually dogs. Is there a spray I can buy/use to defend myself that will not have legal repercussions if the dog is temporarily blinded or ill?? I'm unaware of such products but know that similar self-defence products exist but aimed at the intruder/attacker scenario, but not at animals. What would you do/carry??
