I am planning on getting her spayed after 1 litter and as far as bringing unwanted pups in the world they won't be, as for finding a home for them they already have one mine. i will not be selling them . i am breeding them with buddy and i have had him from birth for the last 10 years that is why i wanted to breed him now he won't live forever and he so special to me i wanted to raise some puppys with him as their sire . and by buying this new puppy i am providing another dog a home

1. This isn't a question, it's chat. Reeeeeported.

2. Wonder if you'll change your tune about keeping them all when you have 5-6 dogs to take care of? Not as easy as you'd think. Properly socializing and spending enough time with 2 puppies is difficult -- 3+ puppies just turns into a big, bratty pack. Then will you sell a couple of them and add to the poorly-bred Poodle problem?

3. No, by buying this puppy you've supported another backyard breeder. If you'd rescued a Poodle -- THEN you'd be "providing another dog a home".

4. I appreciate your love of your boy, but breeding him will not duplicate him -- it may, however, produce the genetic problems he's carrying (luxating patella, eye diseases, and all of those other issues common in Poodles). Do you know for sure that it won't? Have you had him tested?

Check this link for more info on genetic health problems in the Poodle, and please test both your dogs for them prior to breeding:

Oh oh you can't safely breed a famale under 2 yr and AKC will not take registratation of a pup sired by a dog over 11 yr unless you have a vet certificate that he's still fertile.
