There is really no home remedies known of.
You can go to a farm supply store and go to the dog and cat section they sell a wormer for dogs that is called safeguard and it will rid them of most worms. Get the appropriate wormer for your dogs size. They also sell tapeworm medicine just for tapeworms. This stuff is pretty effective if done like it states on the package but a vet should be chosen to rid of the worms more effectively.

There is no "home remedy" for this. Take the dog and a fresh fecal sample to the vet, and they will get you a medication to take care of it.

Intestinal parasites are a serious issue, and this needs to be taken care of immediately. They are not just "gross", they can also be transferred to humans, and can cause severe illness in pets when left untreated. Why waste your time on a home remedy that doesn't work when the real solution is so simple?

I know this sounds crazy, but when my dog drank chlorinated pool water, worms were everywhere the next day. I am NOT suggesting this! Use an inexpensive wormer that is good for hook worms and round worms... you can get it at Walmart for a few bucks. However, the vet is the BEST choice as they have the best worm medicines.

You need to find out what type of worms yourdog has.
Some can not be cure with the same medicines and need to have two different types.
Neither one is expensive but your need to know what you should be giving for which type of worm/Take the dog to the vet.

No, the safest and most effective way I know of is take the dog and a stool sample to a vet. That way they can determine what kind of worms the dog has and treat the dog accordingly.

I've heard of garlic being effective in curing worms, but not eliminating them.
the treatments on the grocer's shelves are cheap and very effective. i would go with that just for safety's sake

You need to go to the Vet to determine the type of parasite and get the proper treatment. Please wash your hands good after handling your dog.
