I have a Pomeranian and I am not sure of what color he is....It is hard for me to classify him as an Orange Sable or Red Sable....So let me know what color you think he is.

A beautiful black cat (about 8months old) recently showed up on our doorstep. We are not allowed to have pet in our apartment. She sits outside the door crying for hours. The minute we open the door she darts inside. We haven't been able to find the owners and from what I understand the shelters are too full to pick her up. The best they said they could do was spay her then bring her back, which doesn't really do me any good. She is a beautiful sweet cat I just can't keep her. Any suggestions? All smart aleck, animal haters may refrain from answering.

I totally 100% disagree with this. all their doing is increasing the overpopulation of unwanted pets in the world. they think that if they're female has babies, then she will be sweetier and nicer. personally, I think it's the other way around. I have a 2 year old female cat whom I had spayed at 6 months and she's one of the sweetest cats in the world. they're being selfish in my opion. they want the pet to be sweeter but then they want to jeopardize innocent kits/pups futures at the same time. people ARGUE about this. it's stupid!!!!!!!!! I mean, if they want a pup/kit just go and adopt one at the SPCA or shelter. I can tell first hand that it costs less to get one there than from a breeder or anywhere else. don't make you're dog/cat go through unnessary pain just because you want a kit/pup. pets don't need to go through the process of birth, their not like humans. what do ya'll think about this, I just want opinions.

Why does he do this? I need some help with this one.He eats well, gets sunlight, gets occasion tub baths, flea treatments, treats and lives a fat lazy life of a cat with a cute little girlfriend at his side and all their toys and beds cluttering the house. But he continues to yank hard at his fur intentionally yanking turfs of it out at a time.

I have only really started looking into this recently... these issues mean a lot to me and I would like to help. Instead of re-inventing the wheel, maybe some of you out there are already on a roll fighting these causes and can point me in the direction of where I can help. Who to write to, what to do, etc.

I just got "Samson" last night. He let me hold him last night and I loved on him to ease his fear. Now this morning, he won't come out of his box. He growls at me if i get too close. Now I feel bad. Should I just give him his space and let him get accustom to our family? I just want to make sure I am doing the right thing for him.

I have had him for about 2.5 weeks. And he still makes a mess on the way to the door and pees when I carry him. I take him out every 2-3 hours and his poop schedule is not set yet...Any ideas?

i've heard great things. I've done my reading- there are always glowing reviews. There is this note however- they will rule you if you let them. so how difficult is it to be the master of the "king of toys"?

he loves annoying and fighting with her. she gets mad and hisses and then tries to walk away. but then he runs and jumps on her back and starts biting on her. he won't leave her alone. I know he's still a lttle kitten and wants her to play with him, but I was just wandering when to expect him to stop. my 2 year old is declawed and he's not. she doesn't really try to fight back either. she just growls. they're both spayed/neutered. I got him from my local SPCA so he's been fixed, vaccinated etc. So when will this end, and why doesn't my older one fight back? I'm not worried about it, I'm just curious.
