If you have a cat that sheds a lot you need to brush it everyday. After a while of doing that you get rid of a lot of the excess hair. However, once that happens you will still need to brush the cat a few times a week.

THeir are a few things. Obviously and as most have already said brush her hair daily, for about 10-15minutes.
There are also supplements that you can buy from the pet store that would help reduce the amount of shedding, and also the frequency that it happens. They are usually located in the vitamin/supplemental aisle of your local pet store. Anything with lanoleic acid, will help to strngthen the hair, and not allow for as much sheddng

The best thing is to comb their hair with olive oil.
The shed is not good to breath, it is worser than
cigarette smoke anyday.
If the cat is shedding, comb their hair in olive oil which is
safe for them to lick. Then it wont shed in the air u breathe.

I know someone who really does shave his cat. He uses an electric razor to shorten the hair and he says it is perfect. Of course I don't know what the cat thinks about it.

You need to groom her daily. You might consult a groomer and see if your cat could be shaved down a bit, but I don't think she will like the experience

You have to give her a good brush at least twice a day. I had a himalayan and i had to put in time just to brush him just to minimize shedding and hairballs.
